The Snowy Ride is run annually in the Alpine Region of NSW with the aim of involving motorcycle riders from all over Australia, in the hope of raising money for Childhood Cancer Research. This event is also an opportunity for riders to enjoy a weekend away with their friends and family and to ride some of Australia’s best and most picturesque roads.

This year marks the 10th Anniversary of the Snowy Ride which for the first time ever to mark the anniversary the Foundation instigated the ‘Around Australia Ride’. The ride began on 4 October in Tenterfield and finished in Thredbo on Friday, 5 November in time for the tenth anniversary celebrations. In their role as volunteers, staff of the Newton Real Estate team were instrumental in ensuring this event was again, a successful one!
