The Steven Walter Laboratory was officially unveiled on the 15th August by the Children’s Cancer Institute Australia at the Lowy Cancer Research Centre in Sydney. The lab is home to cancer researchers working on translational research which transforms scientific discoveries into clinical applications to fight cancer.

Steven Walter Children’s Cancer Foundation has been raising funds to support childhood cancer research since 2000 and has raised almost $5 million in that time. The money raised supports a number of children’s cancer research programs and clinical trials in both Sydney and Melbourne. Research and clinical trials are essential to ensure we are continually moving forward toward our goal of 100% survival for all children.
